The perfume is full of romantic essential oils, including vanilla absolute, jasmine absolute and ylang ylang oil. This sensual shea and murumuru butter bar is made with an aeration technique that allows the butters to melt easily onto skin for a smooth, tender massage.

Product / Quality:
The first thing that you notice about Tender Is The Night massage bar from Lush is the shape and how the pink in the massage bar gives it a pretty pop of color. The bigger part of the massage bar is beige, last year it was smaller, probably half the size of this year’s product and it was shaped in a small heart shape while this year it is shaped like an oval disk. Last year’s Tender Is The Night massage bar had a soft, pink core in the middle of the heart while this year it has a small pink flower in the center which looks very cute. All in all, the newer version actually looks more clean, neat and prettier when you compare it to the last year’s heart shape which you can tell from the photos, it looks a bit messy.
Now about the quality, there is nothing wrong with the quality of the massage bar, it still leaves the skin very soft and moisturized but the only thing that was different about Tender Is The Night massage bar and the other massage bars from Lush is how the product melts. It melts really fast, faster than any other massage bar from Lush, which is a bit strange at first but it’s easy to get used to. And because it’s so soft, it’s better if you store it in a cold place because if you leave it somewhere warm, it will definitely melt. Hopefully the newer version has also an improved consistency because the old version melts a little too fast.
Scent:
When you first see this massage bar you might think that it smells sweet and sugary because of the beige color and the baby pink center, but that’s not the case. The scent of Tender Is The Night massage bar from Lush is floral with a hint of sweet, but mainly floral and to be more precise, it smells like jasmine. And because Lush uses only natural essential oils, the smell at first might be a bit overpowering for some, and for those who like floral scents especially jasmine, will love the smell.
Once applied the floral scent lingers on the skin for couple of hours, and it fades in a more subtle and sweet scent. So even if the scent is a bit overpowering for you, you might like it after it has stayed on your skin for couple of hours.
